Yes, you can. However, you may only access your Hedpay account from a verified device at any given time. Only one (1) verified app or mobile device is allowed to access your account.

If you don’t have an accepted valid ID at the time of registration, your account will still be opened. However, it will not be fully activated until you complete the KYC/AML verification process.

Furthermore, your account will be limited to a maximum balance of $300.00 USD and a 6-month validity period. The balance limit and validity period will only be lifted once you can upload one of the accepted valid IDs to your profile and complete the KYC / AML verification.

Yes. For security reasons, you may only access the Hedpay App from one (1) verified device. If you wish to access your account from a different device, you must go through the verification process on that device. Otherwise, you will be prompted to reset your password on the new device.

You can change your phone number anytime from your profile page as long as it is a verified number.

You will be logged out automatically when your application has been inactive for five (5) minutes. You may also press logout if you want to log out entirely from the app.

You may also reset the app and password, where you will be required to set up a new password and perform a Face Identity Scan (face verification) on your next login.

Your face will be the key to validating your identity and account ownership through our facial recognition security feature. For this very reason, please make sure to:

  1. Find a well-lit location, so your mobile phone’s camera can accurately scan your face.
  2. Remove anything that may prevent the app from scanning your entire face, such as a mask or eyewear.
  3. Directly face the camera and position your head within the purple frame you see on the screen.
  4. Follow the instructions to complete the required steps.

You can register directly on this website through the sign-up page or download and install the Hedpay App, connect to the Hedpay platform, and then register through the app’s onboarding process.

Generally, if you follow the steps of the ID upload correctly, the validation process will work properly. The system will not accept or pass false or blurry documents.

You can use the alternative method of submitting an ID and have a member of our compliance team verify it manually. As noted earlier, manual verification will take longer.

There is another process for ID verification only if the previous method with the camera is not correctly functioning or the results are blurry.You can hold your ID and a piece of paper, on which you have to write the current date (DD/MM/YYYY), your full name, and the words “for HEDPAY Verification”.

You can then upload this selfie to the system to be manually verified by a member of our compliance team.

Please note that verifying your ID using this alternative method may take longer than 24 hours.

Anyone can register for a Hedpay account if they meet the following requirements.

CANADA

  1. Be at least 18 years old
  2. Have a residence in Canada
  3. Have a valid email address
  4. Have an active Canadian mobile number
  5. Do not classify under the United States FATCA

EUROPE

  1. Be at least 18 years old
  2. Have a residence in the UK, EU/EEA
  3. Have a valid email address
  4. Have an active mobile number (linked to the jurisdiction in question)
